Efficient, sustainable, chemical-free – with Comprex® we clean pipes in municipalities, buildings and industry. Our process saves water, conserves resources and ensures smooth processes.
Physics beats chemistry
The Comprex® process works purely mechanically – without chemical additives and with minimal water consumption. Targeted pulses of compressed air and water create dynamic flows that reliably loosen and remove deposits and residues.
This consistently mechanical approach ensures high cleaning performance, conserves materials and significantly reduces the consumption of water and energy. Comprex® thus creates the basis for efficient, safe and resource-saving processes – and at the same time makes a contribution to responsible, future-oriented plant management.
The result:
- Stable processes and high operational reliability
- Less maintenance and shorter downtimes
- Long-term economical operation through efficient use of resources
- Award-winning technology: honored with the Technology Excellence Award – as the “first real innovation in the field of mechanical cleaning in 25 years”.
Physics beats chemistry
The Comprex® pulse flushing process works purely mechanically with modulated compressed gas pulses of air and water. Without chemicals, with significantly reduced water consumption and high cleaning efficiency, it increases the operational safety and energy efficiency of piping systems.
Effect:
- Removal of deposits and biofilms of various degrees of hardness
- Ensuring hygienic conditions and stable processes
- Reduction in downtime and maintenance costs
Areas of application:
- Municipal: Drinking water and wastewater networks
- Buildings: drinking water installations, cooling and heating circuits
- Industry: product lines, temperature control and cooling systems, process water lines
The result:
clean pipes and clean product – efficient, gentle and economical.
How Comprex® cleans - targeted, precise, effective
In the Comprex® process, filtered compressed air and water meet in precisely metered pulses. These air-water packets are fed into the pipe via a precise control system and move through the pipe system at high speed.
The pulses generate changing flow conditions that cause turbulence and shear forces. This mobilizes and safely removes deposits – even in places where conventional flushing methods fail, such as bends, risers, fittings or dead ends.
The impulse pressure always remains below the design pressure of the pipe. The high proportion of air in the system during Comprex® cleaning also prevents the occurrence of pressure surges. Even sensitive pipe materials can be cleaned safely and in a controlled manner.
Fast, thorough, resource-saving - without chemicals
Up to 80% shorter

Strong benefits for every application - clean better with Comprex®
Cleaning with air and water only - no risks for people, materials or the environment.
Even hard-to-reach sections and branched network structures are cleaned reliably and without dismantling.
Gentle cleaning without stressing the material - also suitable for sensitive or older pipes.
Up to 90 % less water required compared to conventional dishwashing methods - saves costs and resources.
Optimized flow conditions ensure lower energy requirements and stable processes.
Can be used in pipe systems from DN 1 to DN 1600 and up to 2,000 m in length - individually adaptable to any system structure.
